In recent years, policies to support the development of “specialized, special-new” SMEs have been frequently introduced. The Politburo meeting of the CPC Central Committee on July 30 raised the “development of specialized, special-new SMEs” to the national level.

Since 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has initiated the cultivation of specialized and new "little giant" enterprises. By July 19, 2021, three batches of specialized and new "little giant" enterprises have been selected.


There are 248, 1,744 and 2,930 companies in the first, second, and third batches of specialized and new "little giants", of which 35, 157, and 119 are listed on A-shares, for a total of 311.

Jiangsu Beiren, a specialized and new "little giant" enterprise in Jiangsu Province in 2020, has won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award in 2019. The company has more than 60 inventions and utility model patents and other intellectual property rights and more than 10 core technologies and Products, undertaking 3 national intelligent manufacturing special projects, setting up provincial academician workstations, provincial engineering technology research centers and provincial enterprise technology centers.

It has provided battery tray production lines for Volvo, Dongfeng Nissan, FAW Hongqi and other automobile brand systems, and has provided battery tray production lines to Ningbo Tuopu, Wuxi Zhenhua and Kunshan Daya. Chassis production line, left and right rear wheel cover production line and engine battery cover production line, and other automobile production lines, have become a well-known multinational new energy car company, CATL, Minth Group, Shanghai Seccoli and other leading companies. The direct or indirect supplier of the new energy battery box production line has fully entered the field of new energy vehicles; by providing chassis production lines for customers Marelli and Qihao Automobile, it indirectly serves BMW and has become its second-tier supplier.



The intelligent welding project that the company cooperated with a Shanghai Aerospace Institute was successfully accepted; the heavy industry projects such as the intelligent production line for the cockpit of Caterpillar construction machinery and the X-frame welding production line of Sany Heavy Industry have been successfully accepted and put into production. The company’s products are still steadily serving mainstream automobile brand systems such as SAIC GM, FAW Hongqi, SAIC Motor, Yutong Bus, Changan Mazda, Dongfeng Nissan, BMW China and Daimler China; at the same time, the products are also used in Shanghai Aerospace, Sany Heavy Industry, Xugong, Liugong and other high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises.
